Huge congratulations to the entire ALP Sittingbourne team for attaining a “Good” grading from Ofsted.
This marks a remarkable milestone as all five of our schools have now received the “Good” rating from Ofsted. What a tremendous achievement! A big round of applause to everyone within the ALP Schools community for this outstanding accomplishment.
Here are a few words from our Proprietor (Gemma Gosden) and Head Teacher (Jennifer Thomason) with their comments about the achievement.
Gemma Gosden:
“As a group, we have embarked on a lengthy journey to attain these objectives, and we express our profound gratitude to our dedicated staff, valued stakeholders, and collaborative partners for their significant contributions. With the attainment of the “Good” rating across the ALP group, we eagerly anticipate our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest quality education to the children and young individuals under our care.”
Jennifer Thomason:
“ALP Sittingbourne were visited by Ofsted at the beginning of this term, we were delighted to showcase our wonderful school, staff and students over the three day inspection. It was fantastic to hear our students sharing about their positive experiences including how they “feel they are heard for the first time by the adults that work with them at school”. It was our privilege to share with the inspectors our outdoor learning provision, The Lodge, where our students enjoy animal care, forest school and swimming lessons.
I would like to thank and congratulate my whole staff team who have worked incredibly hard since we opened our doors in September 2022. We are delighted to have achieved a Good grading across the board with Outstanding for Personal Development – the inspectors commented that “Leaders have designed an exceptionally enriching personal development programme that supports each pupil to reengage with education and to understand how school can contribute in a highly positive way to their lives.“
