Park View Academy is experiencing an exciting time as we are growing both in numbers of pupils and in our positive reputation. Our school provides continuity in learning for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans.

We are a short to medium term provision for learners on the autistic spectrum or who have other special educational needs and behaviour problems. We cater for young people aged between 6-19. The overarching purpose of our provision is to work with young people so that they are able to overcome the barriers to learning that they have previously encountered.

We aim to offer flexible, structured and supportive needs led approaches with the goal of working towards re-integration to a long term setting whether this is mainstream or a special school placement. In order to do this we may offer part time or fulltime education according to the assessment of the pupil’s needs.

We are looking for a part time Cook to work in our school. The role will involve providing daily meals for students with learning difficulties/disabilities.

An exciting position to become the Head Teacher of a small independent school catering for young people with SEND, whilst sharing best practice to guide the development of a second, small SEND school in the local area. We are looking for an experienced Head or Deputy Head Teacher or an ambitious senior leader or Teacher looking for the next step in their career development.

ALP Schools provide for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans. We are a short to medium term provision for learners on the autistic spectrum or who have other SEND and behaviour problems. We cater for young people in their primary, secondary and Post-16 school years. The overarching purpose of our provision is to work with children so that they are able to overcome the barriers to learning that they have previously encountered. We aim to offer flexible, structured and supportive needs led approaches with the goal of working towards re-integration to a long term setting whether this is mainstream or a special school placement. In order to do this we may offer part time or fulltime education according to the assessment of the pupil’s needs.

We are looking for a Head of Schools who has enthusiasm and passion for working with this challenging area of special educational needs. You will need to demonstrate resilience, leadership qualities and a commitment to collaborative working. You will need strategic experience and be an innovative thinker to contribute to the work to shape the future of the ALP Schools. You should have clarity of vision and be confident in adopting innovative, fresh, approaches to every aspect of the Headteacher’s role, including staff development, partnership working and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.
